Toronto, ON (December 2019) – ‘tis the season for giving back, so tag has developed a social initiative in support of MADD Canada to help keep impaired drivers off the roads: #SchnozForTheCause.

It’s inevitable that people attend more parties and events during the holiday season, increasing the likelihood of impairment and causing a surge of situations to consider whether or not to drive. To discourage people from getting behind the wheel if they’re under the influence, tag has created #SchnozForTheCause — a fun, interactive way to communicate that there’s a better use for ‘red noses’ during the holidays.

The initiative encourages people to use a custom #SchnozForTheCause Facebook filter to upload a social post or story of themselves wearing a big red nose. For every upload, tag pledges to donate $5 to MADD Canada (up to a maximum of $5000).

“We’re proud to support MADD Canada in generating awareness of a cause we can all get behind; keeping impaired drivers off the roads,” says Fabio Orlando, CEO at tag. “#SchnozForTheCause is a mutually beneficial way for people to share their support for a safe holiday season, while tag donates to MADD Canada on behalf of everyone who participates.”

#SchnozForTheCause launches December 2nd, until the holidays.
