September 22, 2011 (Toronto) – tag idea revolution launches Philips Groom U, a marketing campaign promoting Philips Electronics Canada’s Male Grooming products. The campaign targets young males and will take place at 11 colleges and universities across Canada over the course of two months. Featuring Coach Niki and her team, these two-day events will encourage students to test out products and enter for a chance to win a $10,000 cash “scholarship.” The initiative is supported through out of home, online, broadcast, print and social media, as well as an online and mobile site: <http://www.philipsgroomu.ca>.
The objective of the campaign is to promote the brand to a younger male audience and encourage trial. “We wanted to connect with young men, in their own environments, and show them how Philips products can enhance their own style and daily routines, encouraging them to express themselves every day”, said Gabi Armstrong, executive vice president of tag idea revolution.
The campaign was launched on September 22, 2011 and will run until December 31, 2011.
